Ashley Qualls’ company makes $70,000 a month in sales. Ashley started working for MySpace as page designer. Her work was noticed when she posted some of her designs online for people to purchase and that propelled Ashley to a $70,000 per month revenue with 7 million monthly visitors. Guess this, Ashley was offered $1.5 million for her business, but she said: Nope!

Nick D'Aloisio

Would you not be happy if a giant company like Yahoo bought into your idea? I bet you would. That’s what happened to Nick D’Aloisio. Nick’s company, Summly, a summarization app that algorithmically creates summaries of news articles optimized for the iPhone, was acquired by Yahoo for $30 million.
